Finance chiefs from the Group of 20 advanced and emerging economies have failed to reach a joint statement amid disagreements over Russia’s war in Ukraine, a senior Japanese official said Thursday.

Brazil, which holds the G20 presidency, will instead issue a chair’s summary to wrap up the two days of talks, the official said.
